Artist Highlight: Mermaid Avenue
The guitars of "Darkest Hour" wail while underpinned by emotionally potent refined piano keys - I can't get these wonderful weeping strings that introduce this indie folk single out of my head. Also noteworthy are the cathartic performances of this novel that is alive during the darkest hour giving birth to hope!
