Artist INTERVIEW: TJ DOYLE

1. Cru Cru TY Doyle , super nice to have the chance to chat with you! What first got you into music?

I took Accordion when I was 5, and then switched to guitar when  I was 6.   I had piano lessons from a teacher that made me learn the first half of a piece and then let me write the last half.  She was great.

2. What’s your favorite movie?

Don’t have one.

3. What jobs have you done other than being an artist?

You get good at making a living when you are a musician.  I worked for a company that bought media for touring artists, like Barry Manilow, and the Rolling Stones.   We would buy media and set up promotions in each city on their tours.

4. What is the biggest challenge of being an artist?

I have 35 songs I have released including the first two albums, One True Thing in 2009, and On The Horizon in 2015.  Then quite a few singles, and EP, called “A Different View”, and now (Let Your Light) Shine as the first single since the EP.

5.What are your plans for the future?

 Writing more music.

6. What’s your favorite song?

Don’t have one.

7. What’s your favorite 70’s artist?

Wishbone Ash

8. What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next 5 to 10 years?

Releasing more singles, and doing a greatest hits album with new songs that can bring them up to date.

9. Are you a music fan?

Yes.
